Every once in awhile, I try my poetic hand at something a little erotic.
On My Mind
Haven’t seen you yet
But I know your heady scent
The smooth texture of your hands
Your presence lingers, hovers
Weighs deliciously on my mind
Absorbs my fleeting thoughts
Keeps chills at bay
Warmth wafts through me
Like heated lotion
Balm for incessant need
Whispers for my fantasies
Haven’t seen you yet
But baby, I’ve been inside your skin
And you, in mine.

You did a fine job with this, Quid. I really like it!
Quid,
I am with Kelly here!
A sensual yet very subtle
poem!

Further, I remember that
you shared "Hibicus Near The Pond"
at PS, and this chain of Haiku remains exquisite and beautiful.

Quid,
Excuse the silly typo, I meant
"Hibiscus Near The Pond"

Very good one. Was it a cold day when you wrote this? I like most:
"Keeps chills at bay
Warmth wafts through me
Like heated lotion
Balm for incessant need
Whispers for my fantasies"
Smokin'!!!! Love it!! xoxo
Thank you, ladies. I've got one more erotic poem in my poem drawer this month. It's definitely more literal. Wait and see it I "brave" it by posting.

Oh ... wow! Hose me off! This was wonderful!
And you had asked for a link to my zine on your comment earlier this week ... but there isn't really one. It was a newsletter that I used to publish for my friends back in the day (before widespread computer use) and I have only my photocopies!
Jenners.... sorry the zine is no longer "alive", but I love your blog, anyway. At least you have it in your treasure trove!
