Tune-In Friday goes on hiatus during National Poetry Month.
What better way to begin than with the artist...Pablo Neruda? This poem speaks to the beginning of poetry for him.
and something ignited in my soul
and something ignited in my soul
fever or forgotten wings
and I went my own way
deciphering that burning fire
and I wrote the first bare line,
pure foolishness
pure wisdom,
of one who knows nothing
and suddenly I saw the heavens
unfasten and open

Sigh. I sooo love Neruda. I'll never forget the first time I found him years ago. I was reading some poetry by Erica Jong and she wrote an Ode to him. It was love at first sight!! By the way, if you haven't read Jong's poetry, here's some of it on her site:

Great post! Blessings!!!
Even though I do love music more than poetry, this is very nice.
I look forward to seeing what else you treat us to this month!
