Went to welcome the local hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, home on Saturday. In their most successful run since their Stanley Cup in 2004, the Lightning played three superb rounds in the playoffs, eliminated 1-0 in the 7th game of the 3rd round by a really great Boston Bruins team.
They gave a much needed jolt to a sports community in the doldrums. Can't wait for next year.
