I wrote this a year ago....
Wrapped
The time when you
Could break my heart
Has come
And gone.
I have wrapped it carefully
In fine linen and
Placed it in the pantry
Where you’ll not reach it.
Tempted? I won't be tempted
To give it again....
In a moment
Of heat and anguish.
