New job, lots of reading, some real weariness in the evenings and weekends (age, bad economy, doldrums?). My goal is to post at least 10 times this month. Caveat: no empty, nothingness posts in order to meet goal.
I'm trying hard to stay away from politics. I'm focused on being cautiously optimistic!
Here's my post today, some random quotations (no theme) that struck me as wise or interesting!
I am struck by the fact that personal faith and political agendas are intertwined more closely now than at any other time in recent history. David E. Price
Like many other women, I could not understand why every man who changed a diaper has felt impelled, in recent years, to write a book about it. Barbara Ehrenreich
You don't take a photograph, you make it.Ansel Adams
Apparently, a democracy is a place where numerous elections are held at great cost without issues and with interchangeable candidates. Gore Vidal
If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher. Abdul Kalam

I look forward to seeing you around a little more.
And you know what? Sometimes empty, nothingness can be good.
:)
The last 2 quotes struck me as ironically true.
Yes, glad to read you again! :)
It's not like I've been doing much posting this past year.
I've missed you, too!! Good quotes, Q. I hope you're back.
I've done a LOT of reading the past few months, too. Lots of Chick Lit which I crave ever so often. In fact, one is calling my name right now, "Summer Rental" by Mary Kay Andrews, who is a great, funny, Southern writer. I was happy to score this latest one from Amazon Vine.
Love you,
Marion
It'll be great to see more of you and your always entertaining thoughts. You chose a nice selection of quotes there.:)
