Typical Winter Day

Christmas was wonderful!

********************

Hard to believe that the days I had off were all in the 80's!

Back to work yesterday, and some rain and cold set in.

It got to 43 degrees about 2 hours before dawn this morning, and the air is chill and heavy with wetness. However, it is projected to be 67 this afternoon, so I can't complain.

Moved into a new era this Christmas, when I got a Kindle. I will miss turning pages, but it's fun to use, and, after all, all of the bookshelves are full. I keep buying new shelves, but I'm running out of wall! Time for a change.

I like my Kindle; easier for me to read. Glad you had a good Christmas! As you know we had a good one here, too.

Trish is back at work and I start back to school on Mon. The boys start on Tues.

Happy New Year, Friend!!!! :)

Love my Kindle! Won't replace real books, but it definitely has its advantages.

I love the photo you posted - don't know that I've ever seen a sand snowman! Cute!

I'm so glad you had a good Christmas.

I hate my Kindle and wish I'd never wasted the money on it. They've overpriced the Kindle books so much that for only about $2 more you can buy a 'real' book. I only play word games on it, mainly. I like real pages!! xoxo

Your weather sounds as unpredictable as ours. After a long stretch of unseasonable warmth, it suddenly got wet, windy, and cold. Yuck. I got a Kindle for Christmas and I absolutely love it! I, too, was rapidly running out of shelf space. With the Kindle, I don't have to worry about that any more. Plus, I can take it anywhere.

For Marion -- have you browsed the free and bargain Kindle books? I've nabbed about half a dozen of the $2.99 books, and today I found 3 in the freebies section that I grabbed. I haven't read them yet, but they "sound" good.

Quid,
Thank you for your lovely ecard
and wishes! As well as for all the
music which you shared, I enjoyed
all the Youtubes very much.
I hope that you will have a pleasant New Year's Eve.

(I sent my cards for you, Kelly and Pam early, but these are still on their way to the U.S.)
